At times, this memoir reads more like a justification—either to himself or his critics—for decisions he made. I appreciated the early chapters that reflected on overcoming his inner demons through mindfulness and self-care. Beyond that there was little more than publicly available recounting of his life and relationship. I would have appreciated more depth and reflection, but at his still very young age, it’s possible he hasn’t had a chance to reflect yet.
