This was a super easy read that went pretty quickly. It was odd that this book picked up literally within hours of the closing of book 1. As I was reading and getting annoyed with the love triangle that keeps rearing its ugly head, I had to remind myself that both books only encompass about 2 weeks time.

At first I really liked Tammy Jo's personality/attitude because she could definitely stand up for herself and tell someone to shove it when necessary, but this time she came off a bit more whiny. Granted she is in a crap load of trouble in this book, and in way over her head, but she seemed stronger than that in the first installment of the series.

Overall though it was a fun read. It was sassy, sarcastic, and humorous. The plot seems like one of those 'when it rains it pours' scenarios, so I can only imagine how much worse it is going to get for Tammy Jo in the upcoming novels!
