Sleeping Murder isn't one of the Agatha Christie's that most people consider up there, but it's always been one of my favourites. I think it's because it's a Miss Marple, and the denouement is very satisfying. But I think the main reason I like it is that one of the main characters is from New Zealand. I got such a pleasant shock the first time I read it -- she knows who we are! And in the attitude to the 'colonials' and of Gwenda to 'Home', I think you've got an attitude caught out of time -- interesting for more than the mystery elements.
