Never having read an annotated memoir before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I discovered was that this format is so disjointed that it gave me an insight into what it must be to have ADHD. I wanted to scream and throw this book across the room repeatedly. The sad thing is that I was interested in the author’s story but found it completely inaccessible in this format.
