This is the best book I've read on the failure of the rule of law since the 1970s. With a growing lack of accountability for the 1%, especially those with economic and political power; and the increasingly harsh treatment of everyone else, especially the poor, by the criminal justice system. Brilliantly argued, clear, and succinct.
