Quite contemporary, this novel involves John Wells, an agent so deep undercover in al Queda that even his handlers haven't heard from him in years. The plot is suspenseful - Wells is sent back to the U.S. to pull off a big attack - and there are some interesting trust issues and a couple of great twists. Overall, a nicely plotted suspense novel, even if the relationship with his female handler isn't completely realistic.
