( counts as 3)Imagine being one of the greatest Yankee couches ever. being in 6 world series and winning 4 of them. also a pretty good carer playing in the big leagues. that's the life Joe Torre had. also being apart of the greatest sports team of all time and couching under the most feared boss ever!
i loved this book it was the best book i have ever read and i have read about a lot of books. Joe was talking about his years in pinstripes and how he came in as kind of the underachieving manager not winning a single playoff game or series. but in 95 he mad it to the play offs and in 96 won the world series. then in 98, 99 and 2000 he won the world series 3 straight years. then everything from there went down hill. the players from the good years all retired except a few. and they started picking up new players that didn't fit in with the program. for an example like Alex Rodriguez also known as A- Rod. Joe was never a big fan like A- Rod he cared about the team and cared about winning but some how things were about him. like Joe came up to him in the dugout and said " bla bla bla you should work on this and you might see the ball better" and then A- Rod said" ohh i have the same number as i did in Texas up to this point" so you get the picture.
i recommed this book to a Yankee fan a baseball fan, sports fan, or just someone who has heard about the Yankees but don't really fallow them. i would say ages 15 to up maybe more on the older side.
