really liked it
bookshelves: clean, fantasy, horror-elements, ladies, romance, teen

Jessica is just beginning her senior year in high school when a Romanian stranger (Lucius) shows up at her door claiming to be a vampire prince. What's more, Jessica and he are supposed to get married because Jessica is actually a vampire princess and their union will help create peace among warring vampire factions. Jessica, raised as a normal teenage girl, wants no part of it.

Once you get past the somewhat cheesy set-up, it's a pretty good story. It starts out somewhat light-hearted and Lucius is quite funny during his letters home to his uncle, but it turns more serious as Jessica starts to develop real feelings for him. Perfect for vampire lovers of any kind because it's a pretty good book and romance AND there is only kissing.
