it was amazing

What happens when the stupid giant meets the brilliant, but tiny, shrimp? A force strong enough to crush bullies and fight against criminals! Max was the strong, but stupid giant. Everybody feared him because he looks exactly like his imprisoned father. His life was changed when Kevin became his neighbor. He became Max’s best friend as well as his brain. But Kevin does not have much time left, who knows his small body was due to an illness. And Max’s nightmare started when his father got out of prison. Will the small Kevin be able to rescue his best friend?
Rodman Philbrick illustrated this book full of friendship and real life situations. He show how two complete different people can come together and become something much greater. Funny, depressing, wise, and suspenseful, this book is filled with everything a reader wants. Rodman Philbrick purposely show Kevin’s courage to face his illness to inspire readers to learn the importance of not giving up in difficulty.
Freak the Mighty is an inspiring book combining friendship, comedy, and adventure. Even after reading it once, it is unforgettable. This book teaches you many life lessons such as determination, and the importance of intelligent. Strength isn’t everything. It shows how everyone could be a hero, like Kevin and Max. Freak the Mighty is the perfect book for all ages. You won’t be bored even if you read it again and again!
