This fourth part of Buffy season 8 contains two stories - a short one A Beautiful Sunset where the villain Twilight is introduced and then the main thing, Wolves at the Gate, a four-part story where Buffy's headquarters in Scotland is attacked by wolves. Wolves who turn out to be Japanese vampires able to turn into vampires, bees, fog... Of course this remind Buffy and companions about the one, the only - Dracula! And because of past history, Xander is send off to Dracula's castle to see why these vamps are able to do what only Dracula is supposed to do. It all end up with a major showdown in Tokyo where the vampires are trying to reverse the spell Buffy cast that created all the slayers.

This volume had a lot of fun in it. I loved the back-and-forth between Dracula and Xander - especially their discussion of whether Xander is a manservant, minion, houseboy or ...
And the face-off between Dawn and Godzilla Dawn (with valuable inputs from Andrew) is cool as well.
And then the scene in Buffy's bedroom where everybody's just barging in - funny!

I felt a lot of whedonesque qualities in this volume so of course I enjoyed it a lot!
