it was amazing
bookshelves: books-of-my-youth, fantasy

I read this long before I got copies of the first and last books in the trilogy. Although it doesn't exactly hold up on its own, it's still engaging on its own. Raederle's counterpoint to Morgan in the first book makes for very interesting reading indeed. I find her one of the more compelling female characters in fantasy, on par with Norton's Elys.
