I'm not so sure how this book with work if it is not the audiobook, to be honest. With the Audiobook, I had a blast of a time. Read by Kevin Hart himself, it was easy to follow his jokes and understand his stories from his own viewpoint. Without his voice, I have a feeling it would be harder.
Still, I do believe the book was too long for the stories told. I appreciate hearing the lessons Hart went through and learning how a comedian's career can be formed but then I felt it could have been told in fewer chapters. Hearing Hart's stories as a kid was also entertaining and with many good lessons to appreciate.
If you are a fan of this actor/comedian, definitely get the book. If you haven't heard much about him, then I wouldn't recommend it.
