it was amazing

** spoiler alert ** This volume is absolutely non-stop action. It never lets up, not until the very last page, and the plot twists and turns just keep coming. I love the parallels between Renji and Ichigo, Aizen’s awesome villainy, Byakuya’s sudden, unexpected rescue of Rukia, the depiction of the betrayal “Doggie” feels, the quick flashbacks to demonstrate the impact of events on certain characters. All of it is very well done and every single panel contributes to the climactic, frenzied feel of the events unfolding.
