As someone desperate to avoid the Twitterverse, I borrowed this book from my local library hoping it would explain the Twitter phenomenon to me and give me some idea of how to travel safely through it. Unfortunately, I'd picked the wrong book for that.

'Tweetsmart' is a book aimed at people already travelling through the Twitterverse, and provides suggestions, tips and projects that aim to help active Tweeters build their audiences. To this end, the advice provided by JS McDougall is first rate.

So, at this stage I'll continue to resist the urge to be pulled into the black hole of the Twitterverse. If I do become an active Tweeter in the future, I will revisit this book because it really does provide some great ideas to build audiences.

Vineca Gray I just picked it up from the library as well, and it would turn out that I am the target audience you describe. Cheers!

Sharon L Norris Glad it helped, Vineca! I'm still resisting the Twitterverse...
