Original review on Gabic Reads review copy received from author.

At first I thought Allai was going to be a total BA. Then she just turned into this huge blubbering idiot. She's in a catatonic shock for what seems like half the book! Staring into space, not responding to anyone. Wake up, honey! You're being chased by demons and need to get your act together if you and Drake want to survive. And Drake's words describe Allai perfectly: "She was so pitiful, so helpless and sad." Yeah, that's basically what she's like throughout the whole book. She almost gets Drake killed at one point because she's too incompetent to respond to danger. Allai just stares at the fight while Drake is getting ripped to pieces, almost dying.

And Drake is hot one moment cold the next. I couldn't get a feel for the guy, which annoyed the crap out of me.

The only character I actually liked was Luke. he cared for Allai and would do anything to protect her.

I don't recommended this book. But just because I didn't like, doesn't mean you won't
