it was amazing

You should see the cover of the Indonesian version. It's beautiful. It was the reason why I took it out of the bookstore shelf. I read the synopsis on the back cover, and I knew I had to read it.

And I finished it today.

So touching and beautiful. Although I don't understand why would a mother leave their lovely kids like that right after their father's death. In a way, it reminds me of the Pursuit of Happyness, a mother leaving the family.

But, these kids, they don't have a father to take care of them. Yet, a great-grand-mother is there for them. Thank God for that.

How I love Jack a.k.a Jacqueline. She's very young but can be so strong and wise and matured. I'm ashamed of myself knowing that I don't even have half of all her qualities.

Grown-ups who wish to be strong must read this book. There is no better way for grown-ups to be strong than reading this lovely book.
