The Charisma Myth: How Anyone Can Master the Art and Science of Personal Magnetism

I can't think of who shouldn't read this book. It's not just if you're in business. It's not just if you have a job. If you're a mom, there's great stuff in here. It's really for anyone who deals with other humans, and that's pretty much everyone. The basic premise is that you might be a great person with great talents, but your body language might be sending the wrong messages to those around you, and as a result all the great stuff inside you can't be fully utilized to make the world a better place. In some cases it's as simple as knowing how to make eye contact, smiling while talking on the phone, or making sure you wear comfortable clothes. In other cases it's a bit more complex. And the book isn't just about "Do X to make people think Y," a lot of it is about changing who you are to be a truly better person.
