Thai is not a book I should’ve liked but surprisingly I did. The writing was a little jumbled in spots but it wasn’t terribly distracting mostly. Imagine, if you will, the Golden Girls…but assassins! I’m pretty sure that was the pitch for this one. Anyway, it kinda worked for me, good humor and really nice interplay with the characters. Fair warning some of the schemes and plots were a bit silly but I forgave it because of the overall charm of the story.
