Good, solid story about a girl whose mother is kidnapped. The girl then learns her mother is a faerie and that the fey are working to take over the city.

Holly Black fans won't be disappointed. Also a great way to introduce faeries to graphic novel readers.

Personally, I'm not a huge gn fan; it is hard to get engrossed in them like novels. But this one actually held my attention and I was extremely disappointed when it ended. I look forward to the next one!
