Anne Perry's answer to Janet Evanovich's between the numbers. I love Anne Perry's Christmas novels. This one takes Runcorn, from the Monk novels, & sets him on a remote island of Anglesey off the coast of Wales.

I loved the scenery. Some people might say it was too detailed, but I could see it in my mind.

I also liked getting to know Runcorn better. Does he have a first name? I don't remember her mentioning it. It was either Superintendent or Mr.
