Great book! These guys had balls. How many of us would push off down a river that you had no idea where it went or what was ahead of you. Teddy Roosevelt and company did that in Brazil in 1914. What they had to look forward to was rapids, waterfalls, injury, disease, death, animals and unseen natives. What a ride!
