This book was tough to get into at first because the references initially are from before my time- it starts off with Barney as a young man in the 1950s/60s. However I am SO glad I pushed through. This book was awesome! It really gives an interesting picture of what it is like to grow old, with all your friends growing old around you too. This is also a murder mystery that is incredibly captivating. And it's so funny! I laughed a great deal reading this. What a good read.
