Thoroughly enjoyable encounter between stranded Earth girl and alien captain. Not to mention the very powerful and secret being who is also part of the mix... I liked the dynamic and the characterisation - Rosie is an appealing protagonist. While Dav's intelligence and sensitivity provides a stark contrast with the other, far nastier aliens in this intriguing story. The romance is well handled and I enjoyed the addition of the powerful A.I.. All in all - this is a strong start to a series that I will be revisiting to find out what happens next.
