What Good Is God?: In Search of a Faith That Matters

At ten junctures of faith in tragedy, Yancey explores answers to the question of his title. He doesn't distill a how-to list from these events. He does, however, woo the reader (myself included) that God is real, available, and loving even in the midst of tragedy. I find Yancey's approach respects my dignity as a person. He doesn't offer a hoop for me to jump thru but his testimony makes me want to seek the God he represents.
The guy must have something worthwhile to give people. He is routinely asked to speak to victims of big tragedies: Virginia Tech, Newtown Conn. - just to name a couple.
