really liked it

I don't know why, but there's just something about books set in boarding schools, especially ones in other countries. Unfulfilled dreams, maybe. Not that I'd want to go to one on Paris, myself, I think I'd rather it would have been in London, but I did enjoy reading this story.

I've gone back and forth about the star rating on this one. At first, I had 5, but I'm going to ultimately go with just 4. There were times when I wanted to shake everyone a bit and just say "talk to each other you silly fools," the teenage angst pushed my limits at times.

That said, I like the author's voice, and of course I was book-crushing on St. Clair right along with Anna.

This was a pretty quick read for me, a little bit of a sweetness break after having just read The Madman's Daughter (a book I also enjoyed, but it's was quite dark...)

Fun, and highly recommended if you like a good contemporary YA romance.
