It's been many years since I read this book, and it's just as magical as ever. There is a joy and beauty in this book that is difficult to put into words; you really have to read it for yourself. I read this as a young kid and loved it, and now, many years later, I've read it and loved it even more. The description, the action, the dialogue, the characters; they're all so well written that I feel like I've explored Paradise Hill and Moonacre Manor and Silverydew for myself, and that I know Maria and Robin and Mrs. Heliotrope and Old Parson personally. This book is perfect for young and old alike, for anyone who still has a little touch of wonder and adventure. :)
