really liked it

I really liked this book because it talked about the problems Victor faced and how he dealt with them. This book had a lot of flashbacks that helped explain the characters feelings. Each flashback was like a different story and it told of an important life lesson that Victor had learned. Overall the flashbacks connected to create the main story were Victor goes to school and deals with the problems of going to school in a time were Mexican and other kids were looked down on. I would recomend this book to anyone who has read other books written by Villasenor.
