Someone to Love (Someone to Love, #1)

The characters were unrealistic, with barely any character development. I really don't know why they were involved with each other. Their relationship was just bizarre.
And the overuse of adjectives drove me nuts. Everything was so descriptive that it became difficult to follow the storyline. And the adjectives used didn't make sense. For example, "he drinks me in with a fondling gaze, undressing me with those blue cellophane eyes." WTF is a fondling gaze and why would you describe blue eyes as being cellophane?
