really liked it

Total Control expands Baldacci's setting from the United States to the global arena. The good guys really aren't all that good and the bad guy tries to justify his actions as "For the good of all". Baldacci successfully blur the lines leaving the reader with choices. The characters of Shaw and James could become his next "couple series". In the beginning neither one was an easy character to like. Baldacci has a way of developing the characters to the point of reader admiration at the end of the story.
