Good book, I learned a lot of things I didn't know about the making of the Oxford English Dictionary. But the book seemed a bit tedious at times, as if it was trying to make a bigger story than there was. I will sum it up for you: one of the editors of the OED was a crazy murderer pent up in an asylum for the time that he helped put the dictionary together. The chief editor wasn't crazy but together they took influential steps throughout their lifetime to create this amazing dictionary. The end.
