This was one of the best true stories I've ever read. These three US citizens had to put up with so much over the course of 5 years in captivity by the FARC. They tell their story with amazing detail and clarity. Everything from marching for weeks without end to being confined to tiny boxes to being chained to each other, these three went through hell. This book gives a certain ground truth to the conflict in Colombia, and it's a story unlike anything I've ever heard. I applaud these men for hanging on and I applaud the Colombian military for so expertly extracting them from hell. This book is definitely worth the read.
