it was amazing

I absolutely love this book. It has range, passion, and tragedy. I was most engaged by the essay Joseph Franks' Dostoevsky, which was incredible interjections of DFW's existential concerns that he feels unable to address in his writing -- or that he should feel unable to.

Anyway. I can't recommend it highly enough.
