The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks
Hmmm. I've liked Lockhart's past stuff more than this, but it wasn't bad at all. Her feminism--a common theme in all her books--is rather nice for the YA genre, and her writing is solid. I'm not exactly sure why this one didn't quite make it to four-star quality (which is where I would rate most of her other stuff), but if you can pick it up at the library, I'd give it a shot for a quick read.
