John got me this book because I'm a big Jane Austen fan (and because he is awesome). Although I did get a lot of laughs and enjoyed the book, I expect if I weren't quite such a big Jane Austen fan I would have enjoyed it more. The idea is obviously that a Zombie plague has been introduced to the universe of the 19th Century classic.

While I very much enjoyed the addition of the zombie menace and the blossoming of the Bennet girls into battle-hardened warriors (save for the all the talk of blood drinking and bathing), I felt much put upon by the rather pathetic fates of Mr. and Mrs. Collins, the "ballsy" humor, and the thousand fold increase in local marital improprieties.

Still, a super fun read.
