I had a lot of similar experiences as the author did growing up in a religious household, so much of this book felt familiar. When I wrote my own memoir about this time in my life, I didn't know I was joining a larger conversation - about RTS, PTSD, toxic religion, etc. It's a brave work - I'm sure it was challenging to write and bring to the world - and is highly valuable for those blazing their own spiritual paths in life.
