really liked it

Solid overview of conservative Christian theology. Read-able. Easy to navigate. I particularly appreciated the 'application questions' at the end of each chapter which provided good fodder for conversation for the group with which I studied this text.

I didn't agree with all of Grudem's positions, but only found one scripture reference that I thought was used out of context. Otherwise, Grudem's position was relatively easy to follow, although he took some license by applying broad assumptions as justification for a few leaps of logic.

Bottom line: helpful reference text and a great choice of a group read for enquiring minds.
