really liked it
bookshelves: audiobook, mystery

The first part of the story is one long series of character set-up of the protagonist, Izzy Spellman, and her highly eccentric family of professional investigators. There's honestly not a lot of "plot" as such, but the novel becomes much more focused during the second half. I'm looking forward to the sequel due out next year.

I will say I could not accept a 14 y/o girl hanging out repeatedly at a bar! Just would not happen. No way!
