it was ok

I ended up taking the first disk out and was going to return the book to the library due to the inability to understand what they were saying. The actor would go from soft talking to very loud shouting - in Scottish accents – and I got tired of turning the radio up only to have it blast my ears.

I put it back in and figured I would just skip the ranting parts and it turned out only one character was causing problems, so I listened until the end. Story turned out pretty good and I was surprised (somewhat) by the ending. If you can get past the first few disks on the audio version, it does get better.

I noted similar aspects to my life with my good friends from school - we still get together and it is nice to see them when I do, but you can tell our lives have added distance between us. Maybe that is just growing up, but maybe not.
