liked it

I liked this book because of the relationship it told between two men. (It seems most books I read have to do with women to women, or women to men). This is a true story about a professor of medicine at UTEP and a friendship he developed with a student who had a past history of drug abuse. The book is overloaded with tennis references and techniques, but I didn't find it distracted my reading experience. When I read enough of the forehand slice rhetoric, I just skipped paragraphs and didn't miss any story. I say this is a good read, it just might be difficult to get through due to the language of the sport of tennis.
