did not like it
bookshelves: audiobook

Two dimensional and heavy handed. This impression was probably strengthened by the "podiobook" format — the music and the "dramatization" were a bit much for me.

Bax dude, don't read anything by anybody who made their literary bones penning Dragonlance books for AD&D nerds.

Bill Duly noted.

I've been trying out some of these "podiobooks" — free, serialized audiobooks. Some have been surprisingly good, in a "hey, it's free" sense. I have lots of time to listen since I have my earbuds in while playing disc golf or riding to work.

I'm listening to Scott Sigler's 'Earthcore' now. Cheesy, but oddly compelling in the same way I imagine old radio serials might have been.
