It's not the typical kind of Lane Smith I enjoy (see Happy Hockey Family) but it is still a sweet story about a young rabbit looking for the perfect gift for his grandmother. The illustrations are striking because they seem like a softer, gentler take on his typical work, which works perfectly with the story being told.
