really liked it
bookshelves: summer-challenge

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. After reading the tagline "If you thought the guy from the Firm had it bad, just wait until you meet Kyle McAvoy", I was expecting stupidity. If you like the Grisham books that are very loosely law based (The Client comes to mind), this is one of those.

Kyle McAvoy is a new law school graduate that is given an offer that he cannot refuse: a job at a big law firm in New York making the big bucks. Why can't he refuse? Because some people are blackmailing him about an incident that happened in college. But why are they blackmailing Kyle to work at this law firm? Like most Grisham books, a very fast read that is perfect for the summer.
