“Fear the Darkness” by Sherrilyn Kenyon is a free e-book (short story) in the Dark-Hunter series. It is number 10.5C (meaning it comes in between “Dark Side of the Moon” and “The Dream Hunter,” but after the novellas “A Hard Day’s Night-Searcher,” which is 10.5A, and “A Hard Day’s Night-Searcher,” which 10.5B).

This is a very short story that was a free download. It focuses on Nick and here we learn some very important information that we had previously not known. Such as, what Stryker and (now dead) sister, Satara want from Nick. We also learn that Nick will have his own novel dedicated to him later on in Ms. Kenyon's series.
