did not like it
bookshelves: bad-books

** spoiler alert ** I did not like this book. There was no plot and no depth to it at all. The man's girlfriend moved to France for three years and he wasn't even sad. His world famous house burned to the ground and he didn't care. There was one paragraph at the end of the book that unraveled the "mystery". I use that term loosely because the book had no plot and by the end of the book I was wondering what the heck the mystery was still. I would avoid anything in this series at all costs. Its like some crazy old woman ranting about her cats.

Lindy This book is in no way an indication of how well-written the other books in the series are. I believe I read somewhere that a ghostwriter wrote this installment to "The Cat Who..." series. All of the others are very good and entertaining - I actually prefer to listen to them on tape because the voice-over guy is enchanting. Please give this series another try with an older book, you won't be sorry!
