really liked it

I liked this book better than the first in the series. It had everything I liked from the first book - the interesting faery world, characters who are flawed, but not irritating. And it solved most of my issues with the first installment. There were very few high school scenes - the only one did seem a bit forced, but I can overlook it. And while Ash still acted hot and cold toward Meghan in this book, this time he seemed to have better defined reasons for it. This time, you could see his struggle between what he wanted and what he knew he should do, so it felt less like mood swings and more like conflict. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
