2.75?

This book started out strong, with immediate action and a strong yet vulnerable female protagonist. Then about 1/3 of the way into it, Tyler is introduced and throws me off. He's SUPPOSED to be (4) years old, but says lines like "So how did you two meet anyway?". Really? His whole dialogue, his actions, everything about him was NOT (4) and it was irritating and distracting. And since he was a major part of the book, it ruined it for me.

Marco/Daniel/Trey was the best part of the book. He sounded hot, tough and very FBIish. However, Karen Robards also wrote his vocabulary like he was (60) years old. Who calls anyone 'babydoll' anymore?

The romantic scenes between the two were pretty hot though.

Also, the book cover is very misleading. The word 'shiver' is random and she has black curly hair so I'm not sure who is portrayed on the cover.
