it was ok
bookshelves: becpl, memoir

I marked this as "read" although I never really finished it. Like many other reviewers, I got stuck in India. After that I just skipped around to the end.

I wanted to like this book. The author is witty, and I truly empathized with her depression. I got stuck though, after I made this observation: It seems that when someone seeks out her own god or "God," this Being never sends any messages that the faithful seeker does not want to hear. Interesting.
