I loved Derek Kirk Kim's "Same Difference and Other Stories," and was hoping this would be as good. The premise is interesting: Through a weird accident, teenaged Grace Kwon's selves from other ages (6, 29, 70) appear in her world and give her perspective on who she was, is, and will be. Some of the storytelling seemed rushed or too overt in its moral. Also, the dialogue and pacing weren't as natural as in "Same Difference," whose rhythms, both verbal and visual, I loved.
