Although this book was interesting in revealing many neurological disorders and I enjoyed reading the more personal anecdotes, I became bored with all the technical material. After about 20 pages I started skipping the footnotes. I am struck by the triumph of the human spirit in overcoming and adapting to adversity, and many cases being thankful for their handicaps.
