really liked it
bookshelves: a-book-a-day-challenge, humour, mutants, novel, psychic-powers, urban-fantasy

This reads more like a diary or possibly a blog. Still, interesting take on what "everyday" mutants would be like.

Its all from the same pov (a girl named Diana) and each of the "chapters" (or possibly blog posting) is about a different member of this group of mutants in NYC who hang around at Sto's house. Sto is kind of their leader. He's an empath and able to influence and calm those around him down.

Diana is a telekinetic, able to move things around with her mind, and seems to be the second most powerful after Sto.

Altho I do love one quote where she says "The problem with being a mutant is that you tend to forget your powers in an emergency and react as a human." (Most of them don't come into their "mutation" until puberty or later.)
